Do post-apocalyptic tales of children being exploited for the sake of entertainment make you thirsty? The movie version of hit novel The Hunger Games is now in theaters, so the drink-o-sphere is currently awash in Hunger Games cocktail recipes.
Some options play off the characters’ names, some follow a “bloodthirsty” meme, and still others twist classic cocktail names to match up with locales found in the story. Even Martha Stewart’s blog weighs in with a Panem-worthy option.
It might be a stretch, but we don’t really need an excuse to mix up a series of new drinks. Click around and see what you find, and as you sip, remember to toast author Suzanne Collins for her riveting vision of the future (may it never come to pass).
