Ommegang & Game of Thrones are releasing the second beer in their Royal Reserve collection, which will roll out throughout 2018, and it will pay homage to Westeros' current queen, Cersei Lannister.
HBO has been partnering with New York's Ommegang for several years throughout the hit series' run to create beers based around the show, and in 2018, four Royal Reserve beers will be released, including Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, a blend of sour Belgian ale and Belgian blonde ales. This combination, which clocks in at a 6.7% ABV, perfectly sums up not only the calculating Lannister matriarch, but Daenerys Targaryen, the other blonde queen vying against Cersei for the Iron Throne. It will arrive in stores throughout the United States on June 29.
While Game of Thrones may have to wait until the spring of 2019 for the undoubtedly thrilling final season, at least they can pass the time with Ommegang's Westeros-inspired beer.
