Back in April, Drew Barrymore sat down for an interview with Vogue about her latest rosé from her wine company Barrymore Wines. That’s when "SST" happened.
In the video Barrymore explains that since she makes wine now, people ask her to be the person at dinner to try the wine. Okay, we're with you so far Drew. Then she said “one way that you can always look professional is SST: swirl, smell, taste.” She then goes on to show us how to do just that.
Who in their right mind needs an acronym to remember how to drink wine? Just drink it. JDI! That’s our motto.
The actress and apparent wine connoisseur also went on to say “Wine is exploration; it’s travel; it’s education; it’s transportation bringing you to another time and place. It also makes the best gift: You get a bottle of wine, you’re happy.” That’s one thing we can all agree on — wine equals happy. Let’s just stick to that.
